History
Ancestral Home
The lands of the Ozuslic were a temperate forest region. They were a peaceful people who communed with nature, cultivating plants for medicinal and hallucinogenic purposes, but other groups were loath to interact with them because of the illusions they were capable of creating in the forests surrounding their villages. Trespassers and others who meant harm tended to become lost, only to find their way out of the forests days later in a half-mad stupor. The Invasion
Before The Great Invasion reached the Leland Peninsula in 13AN, the invaders tramped through the home of the Ozuslic. Fearing for their lives, the Ozuslic chose to flee over the Ganuiles. They were initially met with resistance from the Irocai who interpreted their movement as an invasion. Once the misunderstanding was rectified, the Ozuslic were allowed passage while the Irocai prepared to fight the Invasion themselves. The Schism
Following Carina Ahyen's Commanding of the invaders from Leland, the Ozuslic were left without a home to return to. Most agreed to relocate to the Deamei Peninsula, but there was a faction that was so angered by the outcome of the war that they refused to be ruled by someone who made the conscious decision to destroy their homeland. That faction, calling themselves the Rezuslic, left Leland and returned to the remains of their ancestral lands.Integration
After the coronation of Queen Carina, the Ozuslic found a new home on the Deamei Peninsula among the smaller tribes of Leland that already called the area home.Culture
