Kundal
A wandering Kellid tribesman who ran afoul of a shapeshifter while travelling through the Narlmarches. His curse manifested when he stopped in the small village of Talons Rest. As each night passed the curse would overwhelm him and drive him in bloodthirsty rage to hunt. Dozens of livestock were slain as well as a shepherd boy named Beven. Another victim was a maid named Saki, who worked in the Inn Kundal was staying at.
The leaders of the community, the Rogue Talons, sought to identify the source of the attacks and eventually tracked down Kundal. Identifying him as a victim of the lycanthropic curse they chose to spare the warrior. Working with the healer Jhod Kavken they were able to break the curse. In gratitude Kundal swore to serve a blood debt and took service in the fledgling Libris military under General Kalgon di Iomedae.
