Shrine of the Stormsong Grove
The Shrine of the Stormsong Grove is a sublime melding of nature's tranquility and the tempest's fury. Designed as a sanctified ode to Gozreh, the structure harmoniously combines earthen elements like stone and wood. A unique architectural feature includes purposefully designed wind channels that create a natural, ever-present breeze throughout the temple.
The sanctum is open to the skies, honoring the storm aspect of the deity. During inclement weather, devotees experience the full essence of Gozreh, as the temple fills with rain and resonant rolls of thunder echo through its chambers.
Inside, the temple grounds are covered in lush vegetation, featuring mossy pathways that lead to various altars and offering stations. Water features, artfully designed to mimic nature's streams and brooks, crisscross the temple, providing a soothing auditory backdrop.
High Priest: Ealdred Stormsinger
Ealdred Stormsinger is a venerable figure, his appearance a testament to a lifetime dedicated to the worship of Gozreh. His long, flowing silver hair is a stark contrast to his sun-beaten, rugged complexion. Folklore among the temple's attendees suggests that his hair has taken on its silver hue from exposure to divine lightning.
As the High Priest, Ealdred is responsible for maintaining the rites and rituals within the Temple of the Stormsong Grove. Known for his profound wisdom and elemental connection with both nature and storm, Ealdred serves as a spiritual guide to his congregation, embodying the dual aspects of Gozreh in both his teachings and actions.
