The Inheritors Temple

The Iomedaean Temple in Restov was originally a smaller temple to the god Aroden when Restov was a much smaller place. When Iomedae took his place, many of his worshipers became hers and as Restov grew, so did the temple. A century of growth and renovations. Because the goddess inherited it from Aroden, it is referred to and named The Inheritor's Temple. Typical of her major temples, it is an extensive length two story building composed of white stone.

In front of the temple is a pillared courtyard. There are eleven ( the number of her Acts) stairs leading to the landing in front of the arched entrance. Where the steps end at the landing, sit two stone lions (her animal). The sword and sun symbol carved in the entrance archway. The temple has eleven stain glass windows, each one depicting one of Iomeadae's acts in order, the 1st to 5th on the left side and the last 6 Acts on the other. Above the stain glass windows are regular plain glass designed to let in as much light as possible.

The upper floor is the living quarters of the temple leadership. The bottom floor is the area of worship where the services are conducted. The land holding the temple is extensive enough to hold an orphanage, a barracks, stables and mess along with a clutch or dorms for the alcolytes, lesser clerics, temple servants and workers .

Besides Odla, the other leaders are:
  • Head Priestess, Elise Santha, in charge of the temple's administration and management
  • Vodin Rothar, a paladin responsible for the recruitment and training of warriors for the Fourth Crusade
  • Nera Bothi, senior priestess in control of the orphanage
