Monk's District

Demographics

There are a lot of races living in this semi-autonomous district, but the majority of course is of halflings (specially Wood Halflings). They all work for the monastery or are indeed monks/padawans.

Government

This district is a semi-autonomous district of Syrup. It is owned by the King, but it is the only region of the city that the mayor is chosen not by Ordo, but by the Monks in the Iliodim Monastery.

Defences

There's no Defender stationed here, but the Speared Monks that live here patrol and protect the area.

Industry & Trade

• The monks of this district produces a lot of honey, a wine called Thin River and herbs. 
• This district also exports some whool and clothes. 

Infrastructure

There's a few sheep farms and cloth making buildings in this district.

History

This is the newest district in Syrup. It was created in the year 354 BBE after the Speared Monks' leader, @master asked the King for a semi-independation to that particular region. Since Ordo is very fond and trusty of the monks, he conceded the request and therefore this district has been ruled by a monk chosen by the monastery.

Geography

This region is located on the most western part of Hope's Vale (and of Syrup, obviously). To the north there's Fort Liender while the Main District is located to the east.
