Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Overall, Hiiragi is physically healthy, although occasionally suffers from gamer's wrist. Aside from his physical health, he is also ADHD and occasionally will take medicine for it. Coffee puts him to sleep, so instead of waking up with a cup of coffee, he often likes to drink a cup two hours before he goes to bed.
Facial Features
He has a scar on his right cheek from screwing around with the family katana as a child. Granted, he did a really cool sword move he learned from watching Naruto, but it forever left its mark on him. Literally.
Identifying Characteristics
When he enters Llenaria for the first time, his hair is permanently changed to a warm grey color. As of right now, it is unknown as to how it happened, just that it did. Although he loved his jet-black hair, he also happily embraces his grey hair.
Apparel & Accessories
One of Hiiragi's favorite things to wear is a trench coat. All the badasses wear them. The Doctor (Doctor Who), Morino Ibiki (Naruto), Fox Mulder and Dana Scully (X-Files), and the Browncoats in Firefly. Also, it's nice and flowy.
Outside of the trench coat, he typically wears t-shirts and jeans and a pair of New Balance sneakers.

Personal history
Morino Hiiragi was born in Inabe, Mie Prefecture, Japan to Morino Isamu and Johanna Lundqvist. Much of his early life was spent in Japan, but he later was moved to America for Isamu's translation job at Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, or NAVFAC. Unfortunately, Isamu passed away when Hiiragi was in his teens and he struggled through the rest of his schooling in Virginia Beach. To give him a fresh start, Johanna moved him to Chesapeake, where he met Moriko, who helped him deal with his grief as well as push through high school.
Gender Identity
Growing up, Hiiragi always knew he was a man. However, he also was curious about the other gender and did his exploring as a child. Thankfully, Johanna and Isamu allowed him to explore his gender, and eventually he decided that he was indeed, just a man and he is secure with this knowledge.
Sexuality
Hiiragi is greysexual aromantic. He does not have a term for the attraction he does experience, because one of his partners is a cis woman (Moriko) and his other partner (Winter) is non-binary. He's attracted to both of them platonically and romantically, but he is not sure what to call it. He just sees himself as attracted to them.
Being greysexual and aromantic, he experiences a rather low sexual attraction and no romantic attraction. He prioritizes platonic attraction instead.
Education
Hiiragi went to Old Dominion University to start studying medical science. Fortunately for him, he had a full ride. Unfortunately, it took him a good while to figure out what exactly he wanted to study. First, he studied somnology, as he was interested in sleep disorders and how sleep worked. Then, he dipped his toes into the world of physical therapy. Finally, he settled on pharmacology because he remembered how fun chemistry was in high school. Right now, he only has his bachelor's pharmacology and is looking to get his master's in it eventually.
Employment
Currently, Hiiragi is working with a pharmacy in Virginia Beach. Unfortunately it is rough for him because he hates seeing people walk away because they cannot afford their medications. Thanks, America. You're making him cry at a job he wanted to do because he can't help people as much as he thought he could.
Personality Characteristics
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Hiiragi discovered a love for medical sciences as a child, even finding himself reading random health books from the library. He would check out ten at a timefrom the library and devour them all within three weeks. The North Suffolk Library librarians sure adored him.
In high school, he discovered his ability to understand chemistry better than many of his peers, admittedly. Moriko was even jealous, since she could never quite grasp the concepts presented to her.
Although he loves his gaming consoles and using a computer, he's still rather inept at technology. (Which might also be a personal attack to the author, oops). He would rather pass on the technological issues to his soon-to-be father-in-law, Kazuhiko.
Can also sing but was he blessed with the ability to make music? Absolutely not. He instead sings in the shower and to his partners. And alone in the car.
Occasionally he does enjoy knitting. With that being said, his nemesis is crocheting (meanwhile, Kazuhiko crochets. Two yarn addicts, two different yarn arts).
Virtues & Personality perks
Overall, Hiiragi is a mildly adventurous person, probably stemming from his ADHD and needing the dopamine hits. He loves trying new foods for the most part, but also will occasionally take part in skiing. He also loves traveling. Though, for his teens, it was hard to be adventurous while dealing with the grief of losing his father.
In addition, he is a rather analytical person. He has always been curious, and both of his parents encouraged his curiosity. He loves reading up on things to better understand them. It also means he can't let go of things until every possible avenue has been explored.
As Winter, Moriko, and Badr can attest, Hiiragi has a rather charming personality. He's kind, funny, curious, friendly, and respectful. This is because he's simply intuitive and empathetic. However, he does save a lot of his jokes for only friends, and some coworkers. And while he is friendly, it does mentally drain him sometimes. The fun of being introverted.
Vices & Personality flaws
As a side effect of being ADHD, he has a tendency to be forgetful. It's not his fault, he tries very hard and we love him for that. He has a tendency to forget dates (due dates esp), procrastinates badly, and has a bad habit of double-booking his appointments or even missing them. Though hilariously enough, he can remember when Moriko takes her meds and knows when she misses them.
Hiiragi struggles with insecurity rather often. Back when he lived in Japan, he experienced bullying (and racism) for being half white and also being rather tall for his age. In America, he got bullied for being Japanese (specifically just more racism). He also gets frequent comments about his scar, and they affect him despite how much he loves his scar. Due to his insecurity, he really sticks close to the people he knows and trusts. Despite being able to be funny and make jokes with coworkers, he really prefers to keep to himself.
Lastly, he also can be described as putting people before him. Sometimes it's a good thing, but it also leads to him being stubborn. He focuses more of his worries on Moriko and Winter than himself, sometimes neglecting his own mental health. Perhaps this is due to having lost his father to cancer, and thus he holds his loved ones extra close now. However, this has resulted in many a verbal and sometimes light-hearted reprimand from both of his partners.

History
Met through Moriko Fujimoto, who was already in a relationship with Hiiragi after being childhood friends. After Moriko initially started dating Winter and including Hiiragi in the dates, the two also fell in love and decided together that they would be a real life love triangle, and not the fake 'love corner' that people call a 'love triangle'.
Nicknames & Petnames
Hiiragi will call Winter 'Fuyu' (冬) sometimes, as that is their name in Japanese. For pet names, he calls them 'dear' or, if he's really in the mood, he might call them 'sweetling'.
Winter's pet name for Hiiragi is 'Howl' because of Howl's Moving Castle.

History
Back in high school, Moriko was in the International Baccularette program and Hiiragi was in AP classes, and they met in ceramics class in 10th grade. Moriko saw how sad Hiiragi was as he worked on his project and she sat and talked with him, wondering if she could be of any help and also eager to talk to the only other Japanese-American in the school.
At first, Hiiragi was reluctant to open up—even with Moriko talking in his native tongue. However, he quickly warmed up to her and they began bonding over the class. After the class ended, they made sure to stay in contact and Moriko helped to make sure he succeeded for the rest of his career in high school. This helped him earn a full ride from Old Dominion University, which they both attended after high school.
Eventually during their time at ODU, Moriko met Winter, who needed a partner for their Japanese classes. After being impressed by Winter and also finding herself adoring her peer, she asked Hiiragi if he would be okay with a couple of dates with them. Even though they were both open to a polyam relationship, Hiiragi was hesitant, worried he was not ready for that yet. However, he quickly warmed up to it and even found himself falling for Winter as well.

Hiiragi's full Japanese name means "Holly of the Forest". His father was Japanese and his mom is caucasian (Stated she is Swedish but she is also a combo of different ethnicities in Europe). The middle name was because his mom insisted on one for when they could immigrate to the States. Hiiragi often goes by "Wren" when ordering coffee, after having his name misspelled far too many times. Though he's slowly gotten back to using his own ethnic name now that he feels confident about his name again.
