Max Barney is the name the former leader of the Gray Striders Xander Whitlock is assumed to be using. Accounts of his description have varied greatly however every account states that he has a hat with a big feather and a very distinct eye patch that he always wears. The eye patch is black with a bright silver gear in the center of it with red jewels. There have been claims that he has vanished into thin air and gone through walls and floors to escape capture. He is considered extremely dangerous and should be approached with caution.
