Gray Striders

One of the few mercenary groups authorized to operate within Shirdal, the Gray Striders had a good working relationship with Shirdal until around 1580. Around that time King Orion required almost all mercenary groups to be terminated, with the Gray Striders, the Vermillion Wolves, and the Nightswords being the only ones left allowed to operate. The condition to all three of these groups continuing to operate however was they would be managed by a new organization overseen by Kylar Buckham called the Golden Battalion.
In more recent times, the Gray Striders have been a point of controversy due to their actions in the city of Kence. The Gray Striders were hired to help protect the city, however when a new man came and took over as the leader of the Gray Striders they quickly became more a band of murderers and thieves than mercenaries. Their actions in the city of Kence are currently under review by Kylar Buckham and the current head of the Golden Battalion, Elena Tarsis.
