Prince Tybolt Arrested and Killed the Mad King

Prince Tybolt, the King's eldest son, took a group of loyal men into the castle and arrested the Mad King. Prince Tybolt took him out in front of the people and charged him with dereliction of his Kingly duties and declared him feeble and weak. Prince Tybolt asked if anyone objected to the taking of the King's head and him taking the crown instead and no one in the crowd made a noise. The Prince then lopped off the Mad King’s head and placed the crown upon himself and stated that he was the new King of Gryerlth.
