The Treaty of The Oracle was Established
Diplomatic actionFor almost a year, Gryerlth and Ablen were at a stalemate after King Tannick invaded. Both sides endured heavy losses but neither side took an advantage over the other. Finally in the Fall of 1200, both sides reached an agreement and the Treaty of The Oracle was established. This treaty declared that Gryerlth and Ablen shall remain at peace with each other until the Whispering Oracle could be found and brought to justice for his part in “tricking” the two countries into war.

Prince Tybolt Arrested and Killed the Mad King
Political eventPrince Tybolt, the King's eldest son, took a group of loyal men into the castle and arrested the Mad King. Prince Tybolt took him out in front of the people and charged him with dereliction of his Kingly duties and declared him feeble and weak. Prince Tybolt asked if anyone objected to the taking of the King's head and him taking the crown instead and no one in the crowd made a noise. The Prince then lopped off the Mad King’s head and placed the crown upon himself and stated that he was the new King of Gryerlth.

Military actionKing Tybolt declared war on all races unwilling to lay down their arms and declare their loyalty to him. This became known as the start of the Civil War of Gryerlth. The elves and halflings, knowing they had no chance against Tybolt's military, quickly declared their loyalty to the King and joined forces with the humans.

Princess Andromeda is Assassinated
Life, Death3 days after the first birthday of King Orion's twins, an assassin snuck into the castle and attempted to assassinate the entire royal family. The only member of the family that was killed however was Princess Andromeda, a child of just one year. It is believed that Gryerlth was behind the assassination. The Festival of Lights is now held every year in the Princess's honor.

Military actionDuring the wedding of Feylon Buckham and Harper Grace Marshlyn, agents of Gryerlth attacked killing many Shirdalians. This day would mark the official start of the War of Nightmares though the official fighting would not start until later as both Armies stood at a deadlock on the border for many months.
