Sweating Sickness
The disease strikes quickly, and kills just as quickly.
In the first phase of the disease, the victim experiences shivers, giddiness, headaches, and pains in the neck and shoulders.
Within 1 to 3 hours, stage two strikes, and with it comes sweating, delirium, intense thirst, and a rapid pulse.
As the disease finishes its rampage, the victim is reduced to severe exhaustion and a desire for sleep.
Mere hours after the first symptoms arrive, the victim has either survived or is dead.
Victims develop no immunity to the disease and it can strike the same person again and again.
Transmission & Vectors
Usually, the virus is spread through the air from coughs or sneezes. It is extremely contagious.
Symptoms
During episodes of high fever, the victim will sweat profusely - hence, the name.
