Giant Toad on the Loose

Gle'n, Hex, Kai, Khev, Mak, and Snell answer the call to catch a Giant Toad hopping around the poor neighborhood of Bog Bottom. A neighborhood they are quickly smitten by.

A quest takes Gle'n, Hex, Kai, Khev, Mak, and Snell into the poorest part of the city, where Sable's influence hardly reaches, where the clutlre is rich because the people aren't: Bog Bottom. Everyone jokes about calling themselves the Bog Bottom Boys. They all assume it won't stick.   There was a giant toad hopping around town and the party had to stop it. They followed it through holes in decks, toppled game boards, and scattered supplies, until they traveled down a dock to a strip mall with a whole in the glass facade of the tattoo parlor: Scum Bum Ink.   When they poked their heads in through the window, the party noticed how everyone reacting to the toad in the parlor wore a similar red armband. The Bugbear they fought earlier in the day looked around a screen and yelled for his fellow gang members to attack. The party reacted in kind. Hex leaped in to unleash a thunderwave on everyone. He interrupted the bugbear's tattoo, sending him running for the exit. Gle'n fired of a ray of frost -- but the bugbear dodged it. Kai threw his axe and knocked the bugbear out with the blunt side, then with a flick of the weave Kai's weapon returned to his hand.   Meanwhile Mak used his connection to his otherworldly patron, the Fathomless clam Krukum, to command the toad to stop and return to the swamp from whence it came.
