Redbands
Bog Bottom would only ever get protection if it protected itself, which is how gangs are formed. First they fought each other as often as they protected their territory from the police or foreign interests out of Antiquity. Then, about 50 years ago, a charismatic tiefling named Pin convinced the gangs of Bog Bottom to band together into a unified force.
The Red Bands stood together and stood strong. They founded schools and food kitchens within Bog Bottom. They cleaned up the boardwalk and made it reputable enough for tourists to visit and put gold into their local economy. Bog Bottom was on the come up - until "King" Pin was assassinated. Redband leadership pointed fingers in all directions and it tore them apart into separate gangs like the plot of The Warriors. To this day the crime is unsolved.
The infighting continued for another 33 years until Crimson Masters came to town. He started throwing around big money, happy to pay protection fees and then some to any gang that asked. He befriended the leaders, invited them altogether for a lunch to hash things out, and walked away the new Kingpin of the Redbands.
Today the Redbands are a nuisance to the community of Bog Bottom but an active threat to the rest of Antiquity - known for starting rumbles wherever members travel. They're low class and loving it, real scum of the earth, loyal to each other and their hometown to a violently passionate degree. Members can be identified by their red armbands and the general air that they own the place.
Structure
The Kingpin's official job description is to coordinate and mediate between the many Captains whose parties make up the membership of the Redbands, however, Crimson Masters has turned this around into one where he dictates the rules and activities of the Captains' parties.

Rhys's Resurrection Fund
The Bog Bottom Boys met the Redbands in the middle of a rumble with the Kobold Construction Crew - and wound up killing three members; a dwarf, a tiefling, and half-elf. Their good friend, fellow Redband, and adventuring party member Rhys started a collection fund to gather 1,000 gold per person to resurrect them. For a while he was steadily gaining toward his goal and even overcame his animosity toward Kai Miyagi and the rest of the Bog Bottom Boys. Until most recently he asked for advice gambling the money to hopefully double it and immediately bring them back - Kai told him to go all in on an Echo Ball match the Antiquity Scorpions wound up losing, setting the number back at 0.
