Yuan-Ti Transformed and the Temple of Trickery
Plague / EpidemicThe newly formed party of Gle'n, Hex, Kai, Khev, Mak, and Snell answered a quest post about a pest control problem; a den of giant poisonous snakes had gotten into magic coffee. What they discovered was a Yuan-Ti transformed into a monstrous Malison. When they brought her to the Temple of Trickery for aid they inadvertently answered another quest post -- to capture the Abomination that made the Malison.

Criminal ActivityGle'n, Hex, Kai, Khev, Mak, and Snell happened upon the green kobold's escape attempt from the Redbands. They stopped him and Hex picked up the very old children's book it was carrying called The Canticle of Quell. They met the kobold's interrogator, Gle'n's psionic son Gob, and stealthily followed him to listen in on a meeting with their boss Crimson Masters. Crimson wanted the kobold to lead them back to where he found the book to get them another one; Darryl Berry's lost third journal. "Ah," Crimson confirmed from the kobold, "Hornswoggle."

Once captured they met the owner of the Bath House, Crimson Masters -- the efreeti big boss of the Redbands, and his son Ignis. They then brought the Malison to the Temple of Trickery where Sonna taught them about the 5 types of Malisons. The Abomination remained at large. But that night the party discovered where it was hiding; in the undercroft of the downtown nightclub built out of an ancient temple, Club World Tree.
