Arrowden

Occupying one of the largest tracts of dry land in Greymantle, Arrowden has always been famous for its forest and skills with woodworking and construction. While Arrowden once used and exported wood primarily sourced from its own forests, this practice was changed once it became apparent that the forests weren't recovering quickly enough and that rampant erosion was setting in. Now, the use of locally-sourced wood is closely monitored and restricted. These days, most wood used in Arrowden is imported from more distant locales (Duskhollow soon to be added to that list), which is a more mostly answer to their needs, but this cost is balanced by the high premiums that locally-sourced Arrowden marsh wood now demands, and the various woodworking, construction, and teaching opportunities that Arrowden provides to the rest of Greymantle.
