Tenner Mountains

This describes the area to the east of the Knotted Forest, where the ground begins to slope continuously upwards into the mountain range. It separates the fairly temperate regions to the east from the lush and overgrown rainforest and coastal region even further east. This mountain range features one of the tallest mountains on the continent, and is home to several mysterious creatures that aren't found anywhere else in the world. There are rumors that the range is home to numerous ancient ruins and abandoned fortresses, and that many nomadic bands of Goliath live among the harsh and unforgiving peaks. ("Tenner" is a giant word for "teeth".)
