Ambassador Life Training Institute

The Ambassador Life Training Institute (ALTI) is a conservative, Biblically-based church community and full-life home education program for families who desire to raise God-fearing sons and daughters who are “mighty in Spirit” and able to impact the world for Jesus Christ. At a minimum, ALTI members are expected to attend Sunday church services and at least one weekday service, Bible study, and/or community outreach and volunteer program efforts.

The Power of Prayer and Bible Study

Members are encouraged to bring not only their joys and successes to the throne of Almighty God, but their struggles, hopes, and dreams. Members are encouraged to trust in their Lord Jesus Christ in all things, no matter how trivial or important it is to their lives. All must be handed over to God.

Dress Code

When at church, male ALTI members must wear white shirts, a blue tie, navy blue dress pants, and polished black dress shoes and black socks. Following the same color scheme, the women must wear a white blouse with ruffles and shoulder puffs, a long blue tartan print skirt, and white leggings paired with a black kitten heel shoe. The pastor’s zealous approach to Christianity and the subsequent teachings of the Grace Fellowship board of directors believed certain uniformity removed necessary and sinful distraction from the mind and thusly required its membership to follow a strict dress code in (and out of) church.
When not at church, members are encouraged to dress conservatively and avoid modern temptations or situations that would lead one to sin.

Social Practices

Church members are required to socialize with other God-fearing church members. When socializing with non-church members, adults are expected to use holy judgement regarding their conduct. Parents are expected to zealously police their children's friendships and weed out those would would lead their children into sin.
Younger church members, especially teenagers and college students, are expected not to adorn themselves with excessive makeup, jewelry, or perfume so as not to lead the opposite gender into temptation or sin. In addition, they are not to sit on each other’s beds, especially the bed of someone of the opposite gender.

Doctrinal Enforcement

When a member of the church community is called out for violating church law, a tribunal his held to ascertain the severity of the grievance and issue judgment.

The tribunal ministers called to serve during Zavien des Lauriers’s trial include Aaron Jeffries, Carl Reiner, and Samantha Monroe. Pastor Glenn Darrow, who would normally sit as a tribunal member during these proceedings, recused himself from his professional duty because Zavien was an employee of his pastoral team at Grace Fellowship Church and believed it would be a conflict of interest.

Young Disciples

The ALTI Young Disciples Program provides a structured means for church leaders to ensure its young people learn and conform to church doctrines and grow into active, engaged, right-ordered church members.
