Ormir Zeremi

It was at the time when our god seemed to have forgotten us, abandoned us. The beasts ravaged through the villages and cities of Lucem Edi up to Lucem. We thought we were doomed. Leader of the Lucemi forces the venerable Conrus Ormir Zeremi walked up to the balcony of the City Hall of Lucem. Anger and madness flickering in his eyes he raised his powerful voice.
"My fellows, my friends, my loved society. I don't want to spread lies in this difficult time. In this dark times our leader, our deity which has formed the fundament of our society has abandoned us! The beasts have forced us back into our main city. Food is scarce, we all have lost many beloved ones. At this time I can't ask you anymore to do your best for you and society as the deity's eyes judge upon you, but to fight with everything! FIGHT to the last stand, to the last Lucemi standing. Left alone we just have this one chance left to keep what we love, what we and our ancestors have created, there is hope for some to survive!"
While he speaked the mass in front of the City Hall splits, a gloomy figure making her way through it. When she arrived at the front she raised her soft voice, albeit it just was a whisper it was heard all around as everything was left in silence and it seemed to be carried on endlessly by the wind.
"You are mistaken my dear and I'm shocked that you abandon your righteous, devout character, for which I have loved you."
Ormir's words stuck in his throat, one could see him shivering as his wife which died in battle made her way up to the balcony. The soft golden light that coated her figure, was emitted by her sparked faith in me for instance. She stopped in front of him. Some whispered words were exchanged before they greeted one another by reaching under the others mask and touched their faces. Ormir fell to his knees begging for forgiveness holding onto her glooming body under tears, throwing off his mask. Then she turned to the people, and raised her soft motherly voice again.
"My fellow Lucemi they haven't forgotten us, they haven't abandoned us. Myself and everyone you lost is embraced in their arms in peace and they send me to bring back your faith. Lucem Edi will shine as bright as it never did if you keep faith, if you stay thight in our love. To prove they asked me to bring you this, so you never forget again what we are."
She raised her arms and in her hands the Crucible of Divasa manifested itself, spreading it's soothing, inspiring and strengthening light.
With Ormir leading us without his mask, carrying the Crucible, we pushed back the beasts. Ormir stood through the whole war without rest. When the last battle was fought he carried the Crucible to the City Hall of Lucem completely covered in wounds, put it on top of it and devoutly raised his voice "Lucemi I lost my mask, I tried to misdirect you and betrayed the values which built up our nation. Never loose faith." He then kneeled down in front of the Crucible of Divasa took out his sword and with it he took his life.
But we never lost faith again.
We rebuilt our nation.
