Ocean Gensai

Most Ocean Gensai look as if they just finished bathing, with beads of moisture collecting on their skin and hair. They smell of fresh rain, morning dew, or clean water. Blue or green skin is common, and most have somewhat overlarge eyes, blue, black, or white in color. An Ocean Gensai’s hair might float freely, swaying and waving as if underwater or even be water itself. Some have voices with undertones reminiscent of whale song or trickling streams.

Features

Acid Resistance: You have resistance to acid damage.
Amphibious: You can breathe air and water.
Aquatic: You have a swimming speed of 30 feet. Once you reach level 9, your swim speed increases to 45 feet.
Tidal Call: You know the Shape Water cantrip. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Create or Destroy Water spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Languages: You can speak Aquan.

Biological Traits

Ocean Gensai are the most variable of the Gensai, reaching adulthood once they have found their form. This can occur from 14 to 30 years. They also live in different ways and their bodies age at many different rates giving them ranging life-cycles, heights, and weights.
