Revalich

The Revalich are a race of nearly undead Humanoids whom roam the multiverse, with a desire to see an action  through to it's completion. Although there is still a soul inside of their forms, their own obsessions often leave them seeming cold and unfriendly. The Revalich are never found in groups and rarely pairs, preferring the approach of the lone wolf to achieve their goals. However, they aren't against using or aligning themselves with others to gain power or knowledge to help them on their way. Often trying to hide their physical deformations, decay, and atrophies, the Revalich otherwise appear like any of the Humanoids on the Prime Material Plane. Most Revalich return to a physical decaying body due to a horrible pact made with a being of power, generally evil. Their undying nature makes them great for a character who focuses on the line between life and death and aligns them with any character that gains abilities from a being of higher power. These peoples are characterized by strong emotions, morals, and a stubborn mind. They tend to make for powerful, but sometimes faulty companions. However, they are always going to be on an adventure and will seek to continue to grow in power until their final confrontations.

Features

Ability Score Increases: Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and one other ability score of your choice increases by 1.
Size: Your size is Medium.
Speed: Your walking speed is 25 feet.
Inferior Darkvision: You can see in Dim Light within 30 feet of you as if it were Bright Light, and in Darkness as if it were Dim Light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Lich Nature: You are immune to poison damage and exhaustion, and you can't be Poisoned. You don't require air, food, drink, or sleep, but must rest motionless for 5 hours in order to regain abilities that may require a short or long rest.
Undead Fortitude. When you succeed a death saving throw, you can immediately gain 1 hit point. You are unable to use this ability if you have been previously reduced to zero hit points due to radiant damage or a critical hit.
Languages: You can speak, read and write any Languages you knew in life. Choose two Languages.

Appearance

Although the Revalich are their own unique race characterized by their decaying skin, open wounds, or deformations; they do resemble a Humanoids race in physical appearance, if only at first glance. Choose another race (Dwarf, Elf, Human, Orc, or Half-Breed) to take on the body of. This could have been your own body or simply one to help aid you in your challenges to come.
