Kronos System

The Kronos System is a highly unusual star system located approximately 15 light-years from the galactic center. It consists of a single, highly evolved star, Kronos Prime, which has entered the red giant phase of its life cycle and is in the process of expanding and engulfing its inner planets.   The Kronos System is notable for its unique and dynamic properties, which have given rise to a number of exotic astronomical phenomena and celestial bodies. These include the Kronos Stellar Ring, a vast, glowing ring of ionized gas and dust that orbits the expanding star, and the Kronos Stellar Remnants, a group of small, dense stellar cores that have been left behind by the star's previous phases of evolution.   The Draken have established a number of scientific outposts and observation platforms in the Kronos System, studying the processes of stellar evolution and the effects of red giant expansion on the surrounding environment. The system has become a major center of stellar astrophysics research, attracting scientists from across the Andarion Galaxy who are eager to witness the birth and death of stars firsthand.
