Zephyrus System

The Zephyrus System is a young, highly active star system located approximately 20 light-years from the galactic center. It consists of a single, rapidly rotating main-sequence star, Zephyrus Prime, which is surrounded by a dense protoplanetary disk of gas and dust.   The Zephyrus System is notable for its high levels of stellar activity, with frequent flares and coronal mass ejections that bathe the surrounding space in intense radiation and charged particles. Despite the challenges posed by this harsh environment, the system is home to a number of unique and fascinating celestial bodies, including the Zephyrus Protoplanets, a group of nascent worlds that are still in the process of formation, and the Zephyrus Magnetar, a highly magnetized neutron star that emits intense bursts of X-rays and gamma rays.   The Draken have established a number of scientific outposts in the Zephyrus System, studying the processes of planetary formation and the effects of stellar activity on the surrounding environment. The system has become a major center of astrophysical research, attracting scientists from across the Andarion Galaxy who are eager to unravel the mysteries of this dynamic and ever-changing corner of the universe.
