24th Session
General Summary
The session starts out the morning of 4/9/8499. The princess is in good spirits, but Tasha and Theo both have a level of exhaustion. As they pass through a town, Lady Galla tells the local patrol about the goblins from the previous day. Tasha keeps them entertained in the carriage and the princess even sings along. surprise, surprise, she is extremely good. In the afternoon, Eirianwen has an episode on the road and tries to elope from the carriage and strikes Galla in the face. Galla, Theo and Caspian hold the carriage door so the lock doesn't break as Eirianwen pounds on the door screaming "LET ME OUT!".
A passerby inserts himself, much to the chagrin of his companions, and demands to know what is going on. Galla attempts to deal with him and gives a vague explanation that her granddaughter was distressed, but fine and was being held in the carriage for her own good. The stranger insisted on seeing Shanna, indicating that he's seen her before. Galla says it's not Shanna, it's "Diana," and tells the others to deal with him. Attempts to charm the passerby fail; however, he is persuaded to move long with Tasha's claims her would disturb her more.
When the princess is reoriented to her present time and place, Galla asks that the party make camp rather than push through. Ellie quickly finds a clearing to make camp. They set up camp while Galla stays hugging the princess. Ellie makes a calming tea. Galla makes eye contact with Theo and uses him as a replacement for her as Eirianwen's pillow as Galla goes to make some "communications." When she returns, she hands the princess an orb and says something in ancient which causes the princess to go into the tent for a while. Galla then announces there will be another visitor at the manor, Mattis Roco, an Old One and mind doctor, who may help the princess' episodes or make them worse. Theo has become fixated on writing a manifesto about increasing food production to increase the population to whip out the goblin population.
The party makes it Elkhorn Court and is greeted by the staff. They are shown around the very large and fancy manor by the head of staff, Lasaro Palacio who is very proud of the house and the wonders it holds, including many of the strange things in the Heartford Dungeon. Eirianwen mentions that the colonel had set her a copy of the blueprint he designed for the house 400 years ago. Tasha checks out the music room which has sheet music, Caspian is in the gardens, Ellie is reading psychology books and Theo is looking for examples of manifestos.
TLDR: The princess has another episode on the road. You keep her in the carriage a dissuade a passerby from getting involbe You take an extra day getting to Elkhorn Court and get news that Mattis Roco, a mind doctor will be coming to join you. It's a nice house.
