Eirianwen Chronos (ai-ri-an-wɛn)
Princess Eirianwen Lentsa Chronos
Eirianwen (ai-ri-an-wɛn*) is King Silverio Chronos of the Time Clan's eldest child who appears to be in her early to mid twenties. She was missing for centuries but recently reappeared in Time Clan society in Panvis 8499. None of the Old Ones will talk about what happened to her or where she has been for the past 350 years or so, but they all seem very protective of her especially her especially her father and Colonel Stoneface and walk on egg shells around her.
Other nations believe that King Silverio adopted this woman as his daughter given that none of his children have lived to produce heirs and having a daughter may prove advantageous to strengthening political bonds. She has no dearth of suiters given both her social status, however, there has been several attempts to assassinate her. There are several possible obvious reasons for this. One is that she currently stands to inherit the throne if something were to happen to her father, which would continue to keep the Old Ones power, decreases the chances of any of the tribute paying nations gaining full control over their territories and limits upward mobility within Time Clan society. King Silverio's other children have been aging and thus the expectation for a long time is that the monarchy would move into mortal hands eventually and Eirianwen complicates that. Second, some rivalries amongst political factions would rather remove Eirianwen as a factor than risk opposing groups using her to their advantage. Third, there is a small but vocal group among the foreign powers who believe that there is some more nefarious going on besides for the princess simply returning or the King adopting a daughter and dark magic may be at play.
Eireanwen is cited as the reason for the sudden popularity of veils among Time Clan women as she never seen in public without one.

This two grew up together within the same household. Their relationship didn't turn romantic until after the Tragedy and the princess's return to the Time Clan in 8499, however both had harbored romantic feelings for each other before that time.
