33rd Session
General Summary
The party buries the body of the 3rd Changeling in the woods on the estate and wait for the Old Ones to return. They come back just before dinner and immeditly ask about the fate of the 3rd changeling and gets upset when they learn she is dead. The The Order of the Iron Path had agreed to a ceasefire for they could provide proof of life. It was agreed she would be held hostage for 5 years of ceasefire. the Colonel is not angry, just disappointed. Galla comes down and tells Goldblade that Eirianwen wants to see him. He tries to brush it off, saying that she needs to talk to Mattis tonight. Both Tasha and Ellie attempt to pull the Colonel out of his chair to go see her and he relents, taking his dinner with him as he goes. The rest of the night is uneventful.
The next day, 15 members of the princess's guard and one of Goldblade's secretary. Thier idenities are confirmed, silver earrings are put in their ears and their pass phrase is established: "The princess wishes to bathe" with the response "I'll get the rose petals." The party briefs the Guard Captain, Etsella Munoz on things that have gone on. There's a planning session over lunch for the raid that's happening tomorrow (25/4/8499). Eirianwen interups and asks to go and stay on the boat, claiming that she wouldn't want to keep a lot of guards with her and she wouldn't feel safe staying at the manor. The Colonel says he'll think about and shoos her off. When she's gone, he asks for advice as he admits he doesn't always have the best judgement when she's the one asking. All agree that the ship would be a more defendable and less known position for her.
The next day, all the old ones, guards and the party get on a ship owned by Enzo and go across Epoch Lake to Pikemound. There leave four guards with the princess on the moored ship. The find the enterence and go down leaving 2 guards at the stairs and head west.
There are 6 people in the west room, 2 changelings. The party takes down a changeling and an overlord, leveling up in the process. Tasha uses thunderclap, but Ronen stops it before it hits the old ones and guards.
