Crimson is the Princess of Ruben . She was on the original expedition to Heartford Forest that discovered the Shadow of Heartford Forest. She has a 7 year old son, Shalom of Tenpolis, who is fatherless which is a huge scandal in Rubenian society and has make her marriage prospects disappear. Despite the royal embarrassment, she still retained some of her father, King Randall III's affection, though at times, it appears to wear thin.
Crimson has gained a reputation of showing favor to foreigners and commoners. She has gathered a sort of posse of misfits who have found positions within the palace thanks to her. So far, each of them have proven competent, even excellent and so King Randall tolerates their presence in his court.
In contrast to her younger sister, Princess Scarlet of Tenpolis. Crimson was known as a wild child who would frequently sneak out and spend time among the soldiers and common folk and even outside the city to seek for adventure and excitement which is why she went along with the original expedition to Heartford forest.
She also breaks tradition by being a very hands-on mother. Part of this is necessity as Shalom's illegitimacy makes him less as a priority to the court and his hemophilia makes him particularly venerable.
