Oath King Aldwyn Dawnlord, I (a.k.a. The Golden King)

Aldwyn Dawnlord was the first Oath King of The Kings' Alliance and the one who united the other city-states against the Great Undead. He was crowned the king of the city Ealdgesegen after he freed it from the tyranical usuper simply known as the Mad Mage. His time as Oath King set the very foundations for the future for generations of men and women in Civador.

Personal history

Aldwyn was born in a village outside the city of Ealdgesegen. Even as a young boy, he had dreams of becoming a great hero someday. When he became an adult, he set off into the world to achieve his dream. Years later he returned to his village to find it had been destoryed by the Mad Mage of Ealdgesegen, who had taken control of the city. He famously walked right into the keep of Ealdgesegen and confronted the mage. He defeated him and was crowned king of Ealdgesegen. When the Great Undead threat rose, he united the other city-states and overcame the crisis. Inspired by Aldwyn, the other kings agreed to join together to create a future for mankind by solidfying their temporary alliance into a joining of kings, which became known as The Kings' Alliance. With the creation of the Kings' Alliance, they elected Aldwyn to lay down his crown as lord of Ealdgesegen and become the Oath King, who would keep in check the balance of power and maintain peace between the city-states.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Aldwyn accomplished many legendary feats in his time of being an adventurer. He single-handedly hunted an Alpha Minotaur, tricked a Goblin King into giving him his hoard, and even defeated the terrible Mad Mage, who had taken control of the city of Ealdgesegen with an army of steel golems. Aldwyn united the other city-states and founded a nation of men which would grow for ages to come.

Failures & Embarrassments

Aldwyn's greatest failure in life was when he couldn't save his youngest son from the snares of an enticing devil. In the end, Aldwyn's first son had to kill his youngest, marking that day as the darkest day in his life, and a day of tragedy in Ealdgesegen.

Aldwyn and had five children, three sons and two daughters. His eldest son became the next True King, while his youngest son fell to darkness and aligned with Devils.
