Iona is a AKL-Series Robot that was constructed by Millian to be a companion to his daughter, Vera.

Iona has green plating which can be exchanged and removed for updates and repairs. She is equipped with some of the weapons that an AK-Series for self-defense and protection for Vera.

The majority of what Iona know is what was programmed into them. She updates and researches into subjects depending how how Vera responds to her actions and care. She was originally installed with cameras in her eyes, to allow 24-hour monitoring by Millian.
