Mirai
Mirai is a land of mysticism and tradition, and often as kept to itself. The island is very isolationist most of the power players not wanting to waste the time and resources of it's people on the nations outside it's borders. Mirai actually had no idea of the other empire's existence until the last couple hundred years, When one of their samurai left the island and discovered a land suffering from a undead invasion. That samurai returned and with his knowledge of the other lands across the sea inspired the Shogunate to open trade with some of the groups. The people of Mirai often mingled with the so called Yokai, which is a broad definition which covers ancestries to ghosts to beasts. Their was peace between the groups and some Yokai even had cities to their name or even positions of power. Although as the years went on the Shogunate's feelings towards the yokai soured and they began to put legislation which directly effect the yokai. Many yokai lost their positions and even their own land. The current day shogun Yujiro Orochi has formed a inquisition against all beings under the banner of yokai. Sending a elite group of trained warriors to capture and question any yokai they find, As they believe them to be responsible for the flood enveloping the world.
