His invaluable contributions to The Maeon Archeological and Encyclopedist Society have aided in unraveling the mysteries hidden within the cryptic texts and symbols encountered during their research endeavors. Skorth's origins trace back to House Glaubeletzter, a zealous drow faction fervently devoted to the worship of The Mistress of Webs. However, due to his lower social status within the house, he managed to evade labor and responsibilities, affording him ample time to indulge his insatiable hunger for knowledge. His voracious appetite for learning led him to clandestinely borrow books from the numerous libraries scattered throughout the depths of the underdark, immersing himself in their contents and expanding his magical expertise as well as his understanding of the world at large.
However, Skorth's burgeoning fascination with history soon led him astray. Driven by a thirst to possess artifacts and relics owned by the drow nobility, he succumbed to temptation and pilfered several cherished items. Unfortunately, his audacious acts were discovered, resulting in his subsequent capture, imprisonment, and enslavement. His once-promising future appeared bleak, confined within the oppressive darkness of his captors.
But fate took an unexpected turn when an enigmatic Elven Stranger from the surface stumbled upon the labyrinthine depths of the underdark. Drawn by a mysterious connection, the odd elven man sensed Skorth's plight and forged an unlikely alliance. Together, they embarked on a perilous journey, navigating treacherous subterranean realms and facing unfathomable dangers in their quest for freedom and redemption. This fortuitous encounter marked a pivotal chapter in Skorth's life, presenting an opportunity to reshape his destiny and transcend the chains that bound him.
Guided by a newfound sense of purpose, Skorth and his enigmatic companion ventured into uncharted territories, unearthing forgotten secrets, and challenging the oppressive traditions of the drow society. As a result the two were forced to flee from the dark depths of Maeon. The two would find a new home on the surface within the coastal city of Rhene.
