Squamidae

Squamidae comes from the Latin ‘squāma’, meaning ‘scale’, it can be used for both fish and reptilian scales, and also to describe the scales of armor. Magions in this group have scales that differ in size and thickness, ranging from thin scales, similar to those of fish, to thick large scales that resemble an armor or shell.
