Ghyslain
Ghyslain was a young novelist that grew up in Varetta . He attended the college there and found success at an early age. Unfortunately, his dalliances and distaste for the nobility led to difficulties with some of the younger men of the nobility. One night after a party, they began to look for Ellis in order to deliver a well-deserved beating.
Ghyslain found refuge in a temple to Shar , and fled through an escaped tunnel. In wandering the tunnels, he was drawn into the Darklands by The Death of Walter Keen .
Ghyslain is a novice warrior with some skill in hand to hand combat. He is well-versed in historical and religious knowledge.
After travelling through the Darklands, he joined others in forming The Aimless Group . He was taken by slavers in Ferufezan and held for ten days before The Aimless Group recovered him in the sewers of Barrakesh . His time in captivity fractured his psyche and he began to formulate a plan to take action against the church of Shar as he blamed them for being drawn into The Aimless Group . When he left The Aimless Group he continued gathering resources to destroy the church..
