Barrakesh
Barrakesh is the capital of Vassagonia. It is without a doubt the largest and most cosmopolitan city in Northern Magnamund.
Travelers to Barrakesh come from all across Magnamund, and as long as they accept the rule of the Gods, they are all welcome. Many of the strongest merchant houses of Vassagonia have their headquarters in Barrakesh. Djinn of all types call Barrakesh home, and finding a marid walking the streets is not an uncommon site. And, while the taking of slaves is illegal, the slave trade itself passes through and thrives in Barrakesh.
Formerly, Barrakesh was home to the University of Vassagonia but that location was destroyed during the Establishment of Safe Harbor in 5084.
