Hassan

Hassan is a Vassan man, originally from Casiorn . From a young age, Hassan was interested in technology and new experiences.
He travelled throughout Vassagonia and spent time as an herbalist, professional musician, and briefly found a home in the thieve's guilds of the area. As he moved from career to career in his short life he experienced a traumatic encounter at sea that brought his sailing career to an abrupt end. It left him with a fear of sea monsters, and he moved inland to return to his original love of education.

Hassan is a skilled swordswoman, favoring the use of two scimitars and light armor. He is an initiate of the swirling hand to hand style of Vassagonia. In addition, he has a pistol with a variety of krafted ammunitions. He favors stealth and infiltration skills to direct combat.
As a bit of a vagabond, and moving among the underclasses, he eventually made his way to the University of Varetta where he was active in the bardic college there and regularly took classes with the University. It was at this time he ran afoul of the Wraith Hunter Rangers of Durenor, and was enlisted in the Lion's Pride .

During his time with the Lion's Pride he taught Lionel about moving through common circles and some basic urban survival skills. He experienced some feelings of jealousy toward Vyri but those emotions gradually resolved into grudging respect.

Following the signing of the Steamjack Accords  and the dissolution of the Lion's Pride , Hassan returned to the University of Varetta as an instructor on Vassan cultural matters and language.
