The summer star was crafted by Father Johnathon MacReadus in MS 5096. He crafted it to change the weather but the device was incomplete and unstable.
The device was later completed by his friend Cooper Knobberknocker , Linus Tully , and Sally Tride . Following the events of The Summer Star Shines Over Ljuk , they have become local celebrities for this work.

Mechanics & Inner Workings
It activates when targeted by any active magics. When activated, the components of the Summer Star begin to rotate at the rate of 1 additional ring/ turn. At the end of 3 turns, the summer star rises quickly into the air to a height of 7-10,000 ft. At the end of the 4th turn, it releases a huge quantity of radiant power causing the following effect.
