Gerard Sureblade, now a ghoul, ambushes Bilaiya Rin and threatens him into stealing Wave from the Church of Alma in Korli . The Loser's Club stops him, and turns the ambush on Gerard Sureblade . Gerard Sureblade dies again and the body is burned.
But, the attempted theft places The Loser's Club in the debt of the Church.
