Hua Linghun

Hua Linghun (hwa LING-oon) is "Soul Fire", fundamental to the core religious beliefs of the Tabaxi of Grand Ymmarion.  It plays a central role in ceremonies (such as cremation) and is monitored so that its flame is never extinguished.  
It is thought that Hua Linghun possesses a variety of magical properties, including casting a protective aura around the temple and grounds where it is tended.
Hua Linghun is not unique to one location and might be found anywhere a tabaxi high priest(ess) practices the rites and teachings of Lun Weia. Recently the Hua Linghun of the Cherished Slopes Clan was extinguished and its high priestess Petal of the Breeze was killed. In the aftermath, a disciple of Lun Weia, a tabaxi named Shadow of Fire was charged with traveling to the Red Shores Clan and (hopefully) returning with Hua Linghun to restore her clan's ancestral home.
