Maritime Mayhem

Expedition

The Iron Wolves experience some maritime mayehm on their return to Agate Cay to the disdain of Captain Pogenath of the Phaloxil navy.

The Iron Wolves set sail from Phaloxil back towards Agate Cay. First and foremost, the return in search of Daniel's tome. Lost when the pirates raided the fishing vessel, it is likely within their loot. Additionally, the party has been instructed by the Marquis Bifulco to break up the pirate band. If possible, they should be brought back to Phaloxil alive for trial. Doing so will be of service to the city. Gregor was quick to point out that this action would do well for Bifulco's name. In turn, it would do well for the Iron Wolves in making an ally of an upper noble of the city.
  To aid the party in their endeavors, the Marquis set up a fast ship to get the part to and from Agate Cay through his military connections. This proved initially good to establish respect between Captain Pogenath and Sergeant Gregor Brighthammer. However, this did not last beyond the first major stressor when Pogenath learned that Gregor had zero control of the other party members as they stood in front of a ballista and began to eat the dead.
  The stressor in question was an assault from a school of Merrow led by a shallow priest. The attack happened in proximity to Agate Cay and in waters previously unknown to be claimed by the monstrous folk. The seeming cooperation between the different monstrous groups and pirates on the island is proving worrisome.
