The trial of Captain Ira Doga, the Culture Closer, occurs in Phaloxil.

Doga was charged with the war crimes of unauthorized use of compulsatory magics, use of compulsatory magics, treason and the acceptance of bribes. Most of these charges are held against him with the knowledge that many alleged actions came down as orders from above though no complete trail of who gave them can be found and those known cannot be publicly shared. Doga was additionally brought up on some charges of pirate offences.

Doga was found guilty of the lesser offenses of his case. Due to the political nature of Doga's standing and his connections with the powers of the city, he was found innocent of the greatest charges as possible actions done in defense of his and his crew's faithful service to the city. In addition to time served, Doga was held imprisoned by the Dominus Porta for a few additional months before privately released from custody.
