The Iron Wolves hunt down the venom gland of an aquatic chimera found somewhere along the nearby coast.

Within Tradefork was an herbalist seeking work to be done. The half-elf sought hunters to track down a shoreline chimera for it's venom gland. The Iron Wolves possible arrival delayed the hiring of common folk for the chance to get adventurers more capable of the job. With the help of the grateful elder Adrian, the party got half of the possible reward (an antitoxin and a healing potion) early with the knowledge that their newfound reputation was on the line.   The hunt for the chimera took the majority of the next day but the Iron Wolves did eventually find it's lair. Early investigations to its presence gave the adventurers away for the trap they tried to pull next. Choosing the wrong portal to set the trap in, the ambush predator managed to sneak out of his front entrance, surging out to wreak havoc. I would say the battle swayed back and forth but to be honest, Gregor's compulsion and Zeran's grasp made sure that movement was minimal and only as the party directed. Smiting, slashing, and hacking, Daniel made the final plow sending a sledge or rock flying through the beast's carapace.   After removing the tale for Aldarina, the party also harvested the creature's Tidal Bladder and personal trophies.  The Iron Wolves spent the night in the lair's tunnel expecting that nothing would bother them.  They were partially right.  The night was broken by a splash from something dropping from the hole in the ceiling of the tidal lair: a mutilated rabbit sent down as tribute.  Kain understood the goblin language above as the monstrous folk praised the chimera and wished for it to rain down terrors on the nearby villages that mistreated them.  Kain's climb up top with the butchered chimera pieces sent the goblins running.   The Iron Wolves returned to Trade Fork the next day with their mission successful.  Having done an exquisite job, Ladore Aldarina offered the party an opportunity to help retrieve one last component before returning to Phaloxil.  Without any other immediate claims upon their time and the desire to keep less prepared individuals from being drafted, the Iron Wolves agreed.
