Heading out to Lacington, the Iron Wolves travel two days west on the Colonial Highway, one day ferrying over the Nerm Warren Channel, and then have a final three days of pleasant travel over open roadway before their C-c-c-combo on peaceful days is broken.

Given new world revelations, the Iron Wolves chose to stay no longer in Locath than necessary given what other unknown bounty hunters may be on their tail. The companions picked up some supplies and a wagon for Trost to pull before heading out down the Colonial Highway. Their arrival at Fort Esmir was fortuitous as the ferry had arrived today and they would be able to head out tomorrow. Waiting the night with a few other wagons, Gregor decided to help a carter family returning from their village's salestrip to Locath by buying four unsold baskets and a minorly damaged table. He overpaid enough to also pay their wagon's ferry-fare for both legs of the journey provided a small boost to the village's funding on this trip.
  Lyle flew the channel on his own as opposed to joining the companions for their slow trek and met them on the other side. The final leg of the journey would take a week of slow dirt road travel rolling around the terrain of the region. Unfortunately, this leg of the journey would be more troublesome than the channel or the highway. Rounding a hill on higher terrain, the companions saw the village a few miles ahead and below them burning. Trost was kicked up to speed their way down as Lyle flew ahead.
