The Iron Wolves take the winter off to relax, recuperate, train, and also kind of live up to their word on Building Kritham and his sons a house.

The Iron Wolves acquired carpenters before returning to Yarguel where they fulfilled their promise to Kritham and his boys to have a manor of a home built for the rural folk. This time was also spent repairing The Sea Wolf. In total, it would take three months to finish all of the construction they needed
  Among this time, both Gregor and and Lyle learned the art of Carpentry. Lyle blessed the islands for the coming spring. Gregor unlocked the next phase of his divine arm by tapping into the Justice of Tyr. Kain cracked the code on a new means of conjuring a golden psionic shield and Daniel finished up their formulas of a dream spell despite not having the mental fortitude yet to take the stress. Daniel spent most of the their island time in card production. Opposite of this production, the bulk of Zeran's time was in investigating the orichalcum material. Despite spending all 3 months of his work time on it, he could not manage to work it without having cracks form or odd fussions he did not intend. The unnatural material was difficult to say the least.
  Borrowing a fishing vessel during this time, the companions managed to locate a Rock Fern to send it's nectar back to Aldarina. They also managed to find the fungus known as the Grue Hunger. They collected a small sample but determined to not turn it over to their shadowy enemies in Phaloxil.
  In addition to all else, the Iron Wolves had their Anime Beach Episode.
  Once their vacation and obligations were finished in Zhalvazho, the companions turned their sights back home. Business unfinished for many of them, their first destination would be Galley View for Lyle and the Alderidge Academy in search of Magical aid for future trials. From there, possible sights were set on Lacington for Zeran's condition. It was in the sailing back to the Storm Broken Lands that Kain determined that he had fully mastered the craft of sailing (expertise). The return trip to the Storm Broken Lands would be undertaken in the Still of 1038
