Ignacia

This historical town of Ignacia is one of the largest and most notable cities of the Arden province. This city is the center for many historical myths, such as The Darkhearts and the tale of Xanaris, the Bloodsworn Knight. The original city of Ignacia was mostly destroyed, being converted into the Bloodswamp centuries past, but what part of Ignacia that survived became the symbol of human endurance, survival, and determination throughout the Empire of Ulstrom.   Ignacia started as a trading post, at the crossroads intersecting the paths from Elioin, Arden, and Markaliso. As the marketplace grew, so did Ignacia, becoming prominent enough to be rebuilt after the western half was destroyed, becoming the Bloodswamp.   In the center of the Market District, there is an altar to the god, Rao.   This city is under constant thunderstorms, that wreak havoc on the buildings in the city.
