Razmus Pyrou is a young Navigator with the ubiquitous Navigator's Guild. A New Voxelian scholar with diverse interests - if not the bold or outgoing personality that usually attends thereto in Guild circles - Razmus is an up-and-coming talent in the Guild's cartographic offices.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Razmus Pyrou is somewhat gangly despite his average stature, a product of an upbringing that emphasized scholarly pursuits over physical fitness. This is not to say that Razmus is unhealthy or incapable of short bursts of physical exertion, but he's built more for running than lifting.

Personal history
Razmus was born in Hive City in Voxelia, where he still holds residence when not in the field or editing charts at the Guild hall in Silkenvault. As a youth, his father - also a Navigator in his day - taught Razmus how to use his old Manifold Reckoner and take measurements of distant landforms. Razmus would draw sketches of the adjacent Medial A1 face, including the end of the Blue Silk River, and try to imagine what the side occluded by distance and dustwisp whorls might look like.
Sexuality
Razmus likes women, but easily misses signals and is generally too shy to make his own intentions clear. He is, for example, totally unaware of the effect he has upon certain Rostran Navigators who visit his home office in Silkenvault.
Education
Razmus studied mathematics and geology at the Voxelia Academy of Sciences before joining the Navigator's Guild to further his professional development. That he followed in his father's footsteps is a source of pride for his parents, but it was also a natural step given his talents. In his free time, Razmus reads a broad spectrum of non-fiction and fantasy books in addition to the professional journals that underpin his speciality as a cartographer. Reports in The Guild Gazette of people achieving Courtier of Ironies or Seeker of Misfortune status pique his interest because they represent a chance to vicariously visit places his hasn't had a chance to go to - yet.
Employment
Within the Navigator's Guild, Razmus Pyrou is a fully-fledged Navigator but specializes in the art and science of cartography - the creation, edition, and updating of the all-important navigational charts that other Navigators use to ply their ways across the Manifold Sky. While comparatively young, Razmus is well-trained in the underlying sciences and is gathering important experience with time and travel. Alterations Razmus has made have already started to have impacts on the Navigator's Guild Hazard Index, especially in his observations of the surprisingly fast geophysical changes taking place in parts of the Ventral Tesseract.
Morality & Philosophy
Razmus Pyrou loves his home town and the environment of the Voxelian home territories, but he also takes his duty to the Guild very seriously and, nominally, must set aside his geopolitical loyalties in the name of the Guild's protective neutrality. Luckily, he has not yet been tested on this point, greatly preferring - and being preferred by - contracts involving scientific and academic pursuits over military or commercial journeys due to his unique skillset. With the War of Reunification still raging as of 10,000 AR, however, it remains to be seen how long this state of affairs can continue, as the Grand Army of Voxelia and Coalition Defense Forces offer larger and larger contract margins with each passing year to retain Guild talent.

Razmus is an avid Triortan player and would very much like to take leave one day to visit the House of Games. He regards the traditional Navigator game of Cube Conquest (board game) as far too complicated and long-term for an afternoon's diversion; if he has time to play games, then he wants to play one that doesn't feel like work. He also enjoys watching Terraceball matches and follows the latest IPTL standings, though he's only ever played pickup games himself. By himself, Razmus still follows developments in the Wadoona Movement solely as an aesthetic, feeling nostalgic for the heyday of the game itself but regarding its actualization as a philosophy among some others as taking the game 'farther than it was meant to go.'

Razmus Pyrou is a member of the Burning Hearts Social Club, an affiliation he picked up because of its theoretical juncture with his scholarly and professional interests but hasn't much advanced because he's not nearly boisterous enough for the lifestyle that comes with it. Members of the organization, particularly Dr. Cynaro Thorne, have taken notice of this and have made efforts to bring the young Navigator out of his shell. Thus, though he hasn't done much with this affiliation as of yet, Razmus' membership in the Burning Hearts stands to have an overall good influence given enough time.

History
The clumsy, scholarly Razmus Pyrou is the perfect foil to the brash, Byronic oconoclast that is Dr. Cynaro Thorne. Cynaro's activities freqently get him into situations where even his talents and connections as a member of the Burning Hearts Social Club cannot save him. For some reason, random chance has seen Razmus close at hand in several such moments and able to leverage his eclectic knowledge base to get Cynaro out of hot water. After a particularly awkward situation wherein Razmus was able to negotiate Cynaro's freedom from a shotgun wedding among the Leather Jacket Nomads, the two became fast friends. These days, Cynaro will request Razmus specifically for Guild services in his travels, offering to help the shy Navigator navigate his way into women, fame, and adventure, but also secretly hoping to get him out from behind the cartographer's desk as a way of helping a fellow man of learning to expand his horizons.
