Internal Anatomy
Pictured: A simplified and labeled drawing of the internal organs of an enderman, excluding reproductive organs. Endermen are physically similar to humans in regards to the placement and function of their internal organs. The main physical difference in the neutral body is the existence of a secondary and tetriary hearts, along with two pearl sacs (labeled cavities) located beneath the primary and secondary heart.Blood
Enderian blood is purple and glows lightly.Vocal Chords
Enderians have two sets of vocal chords, used to make the sounds that make up their noise-based language. The primary chords are used when speaking in word-based languages, with the secondary ones often vocalizing underneath the words.Other
Enderians put most of their weight on their toes and stand/walk with their legs slightly bent. Children and adolecents tend to have a somewhat bouncy walk, leaping at random interverals, but tend to even out their gait by mid- to late-adulthood.Genetics and Reproduction
Male Reproductive Organs
Pictured: A simplified and labeled drawing of a male endermen reproductive system. A male sexed enderman (Refered to here as "Male") has an internal system, with it's penis remaining inside of it's body until aroused. This penis is prehensile and looks similar to a tentacle, with a line of small ridges extending up its length, which averages around 7/8" or 12.5/15.5 cm long total. It extends from a slit that sits where a human vagina would and extends to the top of the pubic bone. This slit is not made to have forign objects pushed inside of it, the experience being described as "painful".Female Reproductive Organs
Pictured: A simplified and labeled drawing of a female endermen reproductive system. A female sexed endermen (Refered to here as "Female") has a reproductive system that looks externally similar to a human females but internally is more designed to create a shell like casing around the fetus. During gestation, the fetus will be covered with a temporary egg shell as it makes its way to the womb. The fetus will then continue to grow over the course of 10 months, the egg shell stretching and thinning with it. When the baby is born, the shell is streched skintight and thin across its entire body and needs to be carefully removed.Heat
Endermen of both sexes experience heats, starting when they reach sexual maturity at age 20. They happen once a year and last two weeks on average. During heat, an endermens sex drive increases and their personality flips, with more naturally dominant Enderians becoming submissive and submissive Enderians dominant.Growth Rate & Stages
From ages birth to three years, endermen are considered babies. At this stage, their pearls grow slowly, averaging one a month. Their horns are at the beginning stages of growth, usually less than a half inch in length if they are protruding from the skull at all. They begin learning to walk and vocalize coherently at the later end of this stage.
Between the ages of four and seven, they are considered children. At this stage, they can walk and vocalize, their horns are 3” to 4” long at this point. They begin learning to teleport now as their pearl growth rate begins to slowly speed up, or in some rare cases slow down, to what their adult growth rate will be. Children begin to spar at each other using their horns, allowing them to strengthen. They also begin to lose their flatter baby teeth and gain a newer, sharper set of adult teeth, triggering a second round of teething.
Adolescence is between the ages of eight and fourteen. In this time, their pearl growth rate stabilizes into their adult rate and they finish replacing their baby teeth. Sparring becomes more dangerous as their horns finish growing and their fangs become more pronounced.
The ages of fifteen to twenty are young adulthood. At this stage, they finish their main schooling begin to either join the workforce or leave for higher or specialized schooling.
Enderians reach sexual maturity at age twenty.
Adulthood is between the ages of twenty-one and one hundred and twenty.
Enderians over the age of one hundred and twenty-one are considered elderly.
Ecology and Habitats
Due to the unique natural magic of The End, Enderians take injury from water, describing itvas a similar sensation to burning. Cold water is worse than warm, though both can be equally fatal if major contact continues over a prolonged period.
Water can be treated to not affect Enderians in this way, though the treatment is diffucult and expensive.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Enderians are stict carnivores, with many plants even being deadly if ingested. These include mint, most fruits not native to the End, grasses, and several vegetables.
Behaviour
Enderians trigger an agressive state when experiencing extended periods of eye contact. This aggression includes the lowering of the secondary eyelid, production of venom starting in the venom glands, posture changes, a higher/lower voice or the secondary vocal cords vocalizing while speaking.
De-Triggering the aggressive state is done by either removing the Enderian from the person or having them take injury from a natural source (fire, water, etc.).
If not de-triggered quickly, the enderman will enter an almost dissociative rage state and attack the person who triggered it along with anyone that attempts to interfere. The latter de-triggerering method will still work, but a larger amount of injury will be required to snap them out of the state.
Additional Information
Social Structure
Enderian society is split into two distinct classes- Upper Class (sometimes referred to as "High Class") and Lower Class. There is major animosity between the two classes. There is no physical difference between upper and lower class Enderians.
The older generation of the lower class is resentful towards the upper after a failed revolution over poor treatment and lack of food. The younger generation is more subdued, instead leaving their home continent (known as The End) when they are able. Members of the lower class live in poverty in The End, with a former strong sense of community that was shattered after the revolution.
The upper class sees the lower as lesser than, almost seeing them as barely above animals in some cases. They follow the nobility structure of the humans, with Queen Pandora at the top of it.
Upper class Enderians will not hire lower class enderians, the lower class either emplyoying each other or finding work outside of The End. The latter usually find themselves in servitude to non-Enderian nobles. When encountering members of the other class outside of The End, members of the upper class will be hostile and the lower will avoid them or become submissive.
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Ender pearls, a renewable organ grown within an enderman's body, can be used externally to allow the holder to teleport once. This makes it in high demand, and as they are only grown inside an enderman's body, they are often forcibly taken. The main perpetrators of this are known as "Pearl Barons", people who hold a large number of either living or dead endermen captive and harvest the pearls from their body to sell.
Enderians are also frequently taken and sold into trafficking or to collectors, being highly popular due to their otherness. Even being in the protection of powerful people may not be enough protection for those with rarer features, with being kiddnapped or sold for extremely large amounts of money.
They're sometimes bred together or with other hybrids to try and produce even rarer mutations, especially if bought by a collector.
Enderian blood is also a potion ingredient, often sold by Enderians willing to part with it or by Pearl Barons who collect it while harvesting ender pearls.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Eyes
Pictured (Upper): A simplified drawing of the front and side view of an enderman's eyes. The pupil is colored green to contrast with the secondary lid (shown below). Pictured (Lower): A simplified drawing of the front and side view of an enderman's secondary lid being extended. Endermen have secondary translucent eyelid that lowers when an endermen enters an aggressive state and during teleportation. This secondary lid protects the eye, being more firm than the primary lid with a few thinner areas that have a pattern similar to that of an ender pearl. When the secondary lid is in use, an enderman's vision will be tinted purple, as the lid is physically purple. This lid is the factual component behind the myth that "an Enderian's eyes glow when they're mad" due to how reflective the secondary lid is, giving the appearance of glowing.Teleportation
The most well known ability of endermen is their teleportation. Endermen teleport mostly by biological instinct, their body breaking an enderpearl and releasing its magic while focusing on a location. The range of teleportation is limited but varies between individuals, with the ability to slowly train the range wider. If an endermens body or mind is compramised (Major Injury, Distress, Illness, Shock, Confusion, etc.) the body will refuse to teleport.Civilization and Culture
Courtship Ideals
A major element of Enderian courting is scenting. Those wishing to court another will often use their tail to scent their interest, a way to inform other Enderians that the individual has been "claimed".
Enderian courtship is a long process, the first interested party initiating by scenting the other. If the other party is of a non-scenting species or a species incapeable of registering Enderian scents, the first interested party will also provice acts of service.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Lower class Enderians speak a sound-based language of the same name (known as Complete Enderian). Noises included in the entirety of Enderian are clicking, whistling, chirping, warbling, humming, snorting, purring, screeching, whining, cooing, whimpering, buzzing, and vwooping.
Higher class endermen speak Select Enderian, a version that excludes snorting, screeching, and whimpering from their speech, deeming them as "ugly noises".
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Because enderpearls continue to grow in the body after death, it is customary to cremate the body. The ceremonies surrounding this act vary across cultures.
Harvested Ender Pearls that are recollected or returned to an Enderian are ritualistically shattered as a way to symbolically set the spirit of the victimized enderman free.
Common Taboos
Lower class Endarians are not to braid their own hair- they may be trained to braid the hair other, higher class Endarians but putting braid in their own hair is seen as disrespectful to the upper class and as trying to hide their true status. Even simple three-strand braids are forbiddin, and low class Endarians that break this can be ostricized from their communities
Common Myths and Legends
Many Endarians and other people across the world have heard of the Pearling Baby- an infant that was born with an accelerated pearl growth rate. Forming a new pearl every few hours, the baby's small pearl sacs were filled before the end of its first week of life, forcing new pearls to grow in its other organs and quickly killing it. This led to the horrific discorvery that pearls will continue to grow within a dead Enderian as long as the body is kept in an intact state as pearls eventually filled the baby's entire body, growing on the outside of its skin until its cremation.
The Pearling Baby has since become a horror story and warning in Enderian culture, scaring off people from wishing their pearls grew faster
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Being a more not-human looking hybrid species (as opposed to Avians for example), Enderians are often "othered" in several ways by humans. Often, they are seen and treated as more similar to animals, with little legal protections outside of their home continent. This treatment may range between "sexually appealing" to "pearl cattle", with the two having a wide overlap.
Other humans fear them, believing them to be anything between "bad luck" and "cursed". Certain groups (such as Those That Listen) believe them to be demons.
Between Hybrid species, Enderians are seen on a much more equal level. Enderian nobility have had a long allience with the Byssaryn kingdoms and while politically neutral with the Piglin and Witheren clans have on occasion sent military support during Enlistment Raids.
Military
Due to their teleportation and aggressive state, Enderians are feared soliders. Their teleportation and its range makes their movements predictable and allows them to get past most defenses. The full Enderian Military has not been deployed in decades, though it has been active.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Skin Color
Pictured: A swatch of the four main enderian skin colors on solid colored bodies. In order: White, Tan, Grey, and Black Enderians have four main skin colors, white, tan, grey, and black, with the most common skin colour being grey. Most Enderians are also solid colored, with none of the other colors appearing on their body. Pictured: A swatch of the four main enderian split types. They are split between white and black for the highest contrast. In order: Clean Split, Muddy Split, Painter's Split, and Single Split. Endermen skin color can also be split, though it is rarer. The split can be any two colors, usually the colors of the parents or grandparents. If the skin color is split, the hair and fur usually match it.- Clean Splits are the rarest, being split evenly between two colors with no freckling. They are the second most sought after by those who collect hybrids.
- Muddy splits are the second rarest but most sought after. Their skin is split in half, but it is not clean, instead patches and freckles of the other color dot the line. The tail is usually marbled instead of split in half.
- Painter's Splits are uncommon, with large freckled patches of the secondary color appearing in several places over the body.
- Single split is the most common, with one freckled patch of a secondary color varying in size but most commonly encompassing an entire limb.
Hair & Fur
