History

Hybrids are the original sister species to humans. They were human-like in appearance, with magic-in-nature mutations changing them in some degree to be similar to animals and entities across the wold. They originated in the magic rich continents of the Aether, Nether, End, and Byssaryn.
The original Hybrid species ranged wildly, with many having traits of several different animals. They have since evolved down into highly specialized species. These newer species are classified with the creature they most resemble (ex. Piglin Hybrid, Canine Hybrid), though most only use the creature name (ex. Piglin) or a derivative name (ex. Enderian).
