Overview
Drakeroot is a psychoactive root, mainly found in temperate and tropical enviroments such as
Colodos. It got its name for allegedly being a favorite snack of the many Drakes that purportedly live amongst the mountains and hills of central Colodos.
Effects
Drakeroot is commonly known for its strong psychoactive effects, and is ingested usually through inhalation (smoking) of a processed form of the root. It is known to cause feelings of euphoria, warmth, dulled pain, drowsiness, and lethargy. It is moderately addictive.
Cultural Use
Drakeroot is most commonly associated with use amongst the nobility of the
Shou speaking world, mainly in
Toniva and the
Shou Empire. The root is exotic and expensive, making it relatively difficult to aquire.
Legality
Drakeroot is illegal to trade in
Albasca,
Sylvenne,
Luncia, the
Ascalon Empire, and the
Three Kingdoms.
