Ilya is perceptive, truthful, meditative, and skeptical of his alleged reincarnated status. He desperately wishes to be free from the circumstances of his soul, and the social alienation that comes with it.

History

Thir was betrothed to a Prijkan woman from House Nikolic to secure peace between Prijka and Regnum Solas. However, he caught the eye of her brother, Oberon Nikolic, who murdered her on the day of her wedding to Thir. Thir threw himself from a balcony soon after, but was imprisioned by Oberon's soul-capturing curse over the land of Barovia. He was freed from the curse by Marius Ekker, Lena Lorrain, and Bianca Etxabeltza-Xavieritz in late 1063, and later became an influential member of the Order of the Righteous.
