Apostle Marius Ekker

Marius Ekker is an immortal Apostle to Asaala from the Riverlands. He formerly worked running a cloth business in Straaten inherited from his father Dario before turning to a life of infernal servitude. He is married to Isabella Ekker, the leader of the Order of the Righteous.

Life

After his sister was assaulted by Felix Zaal, Marius met the Devil Asaala via a local cult, and signed a contract with her resulting in Felix's painful death. Their contract additionally outlined Asaala's complete ownership of Marius's soul in exchange for a set of initial favors, long life, and sexual activity at regular intervals.
As an Apostle, Marius left home doing Asaala's bidding, and eventually recruited Lena Lorrain into selling her soul to Hel after killing her father, Pierre. Later, with Lena and his coworker Bianca, he assisted in the assassination of Doge Benedict Zaal of the Riverlands. Later, he joined the Order of the Righteous with his wife Isabella, and gained immortality through unknown means.
