Thaig Ramanis

Merely a whisper among those who carry stories, Thaig Ramanis is a long forgotten island. Cultures who survived through the banishing of Zariel make reference to Thaig in songs passed down to their children. Its incredible beauty has been taken away from the world for unknown reasons but those who believe it to be real know it to be lying dormant, waiting to reveal its secrets once again.

Geography

A pretty common island shape, most shores are just above sea level and are composed of soft sand or rocks. One side of the island is a steep incline with a rough rock face, 15ft high. Its elevation is roughly 50m above sea level at the highest point giving the whole island only a slight incline to its peak. 10,200 km squared area. In the middle of the island lies a large tree and a few pools of water. The steep cliff side is a beautiful spot to stare out at the ocean or cliff jump from.

Fauna & Flora

This island is filled with beautiful trees whose canopies become magically alight when the sun sets. Each tree is connected to one of the five energies which give life to the world of Shar Tamaing and depending on their connection are separated into 5 sectors on the island.. The leaves glow vibrant reds/oranges for fire, blues/teals for water, purples/black for death,yellow/white for air, and browns/light greens for earth. During the day the leaves are innate and take on their regular green colours. The island is also filled with beautiful flowers, fungus, and grasses. Due to the high concentration of energy and the islands isolation many animals do not live here.
